Beauty Returning from the Bath Kakemono

Comments - Attractive kakemono or vertical diptych portrait of a beauty returning from the bath, carrying a green floral robe under her arm and holding a white towel. She wears a blue striped kimono over a pink under robe, and tall wooden geta sandals. Her hair is arranged in a large smooth bun, adorned with a few hairpins, including one decorated with tiny leaves and dangling gourds. A charming Edo era beauty design.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Two attached panels, backed with paper. Light soiling and spotting, creasing, paper slightly curled. Please see photos for details.
