Samurai Grabbing a Spear

Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of a samurai grabbing a spear thrust at him by another warrior. His attacker grimaces angrily as he turns his head to the side, wring a plaid kimono over a red under robe and a black cloth over his head. The warrior at right calmly pushes the weapon way, a fan in his other hand and a gourd container hanging from his waist. A crescent moon shines faintly in the dark night sky, the scene framed by red and orange maple leaves. A handsome subject with lively color.
