Kinryuzan Temple at Asakusa, 1843 - 1847 - Handsome view of Kinryuzan Temple at Asakusa, the great entrance gate in the center dominating the scene. The grounds are crowded with visitors, many carrying umbrellas, strolling towards the gate or pausing at the tea stalls lining the plaza. The pagoda spire rise above the dark foliage of the trees at right, and the sky is softly shaded. A nicely detailed image, also in the collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.

Image Size - 8 5/8" x 13 3/8" + margins

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail. Backed with paper. Light soiling. Vertical center crease. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
