Original Kiyochika (1847 - 1915) Japanese Woodblock Print
Sunrise at Yorozuyo (or Mansei) Bridge

Comments - Handsome early morning view of Yorozuyo or Mansei Bridge. Slender clouds streaked with pale yellow sunlight dot the pale blue sky as figures gather near the structures at the foot of the bridge before crossing the stone archway. The trees are bare, and shadows fall across the roadway from the left. A quiet, serene image, also in the collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.

Artist - Kiyochika (1847 - 1915)

Image Size - 8" x 12 1/4" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. A few small holes and thinning spots, repaired, blends well. Slight soiling, faint toning near edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
