Beauty with a Plum Branch, 1848 - Attractive portrait of a beauty carrying a blossoming plum branch and a bamboo vase. She wears a shaded kimono bordered with a delicate design of leaves and pine needles, tied with a furry black obi. Her hair is pulled back into a smooth bun adorned with a comb, hairpins, and ribbons. A charming image from this rarely seen Hiroshige beauty series.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Three horizontal folds, now flattened. A few small holes and thinning spots, repaired. Toning, soiling. Please see photos for details.
