Preparing to Draw a Sword, 1860

Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of a commoner preparing to draw his sword. He stares over his shoulder with a tight-lipped frown, his hand resting atop the hilt of his weapon. He wears a gray and rust plaid kimono, over a red under robe with a large character on the shoulder. A nicely detailed interior setting.

Image Size - 14 3/8" x 9 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
