Kabuki Confrontation

Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of two men confronting each other in an interior. The seated man at left leans forward aggressively with a tight-lipped frown, staring across the room at his companion. The fellow at right glares back at him, clenching a pipe in one hand as he tucks up the back of his striped kimono. The beauty in the center tries to intervene, holding out her hands as she urges them to calm themselves. The room opens onto a verandah overlooking a red sky, and a large glass chandelier trimmed with colorful tassels and beads hangs overhead. Nice expressive figures with lively color.
