Snow at Ochanomizu

Comments - Charming view of the river at Ochanomizu, the sky flooded with soft pink and yellow light at the sun sets. At lower right, two men warm themselves at a fire along the shore, a plume of gray smoke rising from the orange flames. A boat is anchored nearby, and the green hillsides are patchy with snow cover. A handsome winter design with wonderful handling of light and muted color.

Artist - Kiyochika (1847 - 1915)

Image Size - 7 7/8" x 12 1/2" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Vertical fold near center. Small loss at top right corner, a few small holes, repaired, blends well. Faint toning near edges, slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
