Iris at Horikiri

Comments - Charming scene of visitors strolling about the grounds of the Horikiri Iris Garden, walking along pathways between fields of purple, blue, and white iris blossoms. Small tea stalls hung with red paper lanterns border the walkways, and stone steps lead to another refreshment stand on a hill overlooking the park. The two men chatting at lower left wear traditional Japanese attire with the addition of western hats and an umbrella. An attractive landscape subject.
