A Closet Room - A terrific and rare Kuniyoshi shunga diptych depicting a bustling teahouse in spring. A pair of lovers, unable to contain their passions, finds a spot in a partially obscured corner. A trio of maids or servants sees their union in shock and amusement. The text associated with this print in the original release reads:

The hustle and bustle of a teahouse in the spring (new year) season, awakens us all to the desires of "spring."

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail. Four panels, attached at seams in two separate sheets. Backed with old paper. A few small holes repaired from reverse. Some minor soiling or wear near edges. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
