Beauty by a Brazier

Series; Incidents of Everyday Life for the Eight Views and Eight Trigrams

Beauty by a Brazier - Handsome design of a young woman kneeling beside a brazier inside a shop. She rests one elbow on a low wooden table as she reaches into her tobacco pouch to fill her pipe. A pile of wrapped parcels is piled on the floor behind her. An interesting scene from this series pairing beauties with the eight Chinese trigrams (symbols) used for divination. The trigram for this image is "Li." A very unusual subject to find in reprint.

Image Size - 15" x 9 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. A couple faint spots in right margin. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
