Pensive Beauty

Comments - Terrific portrait of a young beauty deep in thought, dressed in a formal kimono, resting her head against her hand as she leans over a low black lacquer chest. Her gray kimono is patterned with delicate white sprigs and trimmed with a plum tie-dyed print, tied with a blue obi with a leaf design. A charming subject, nicely detailed. Published by Takamizawa, circa 1950s.

Image Size - 7 1/2" x 10 1/2" + margins as shown
