Nobleman Waving a Fan

Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of a nobleman standing at the foot of a bridge, waving a fan above his head. He looks over his shoulder with a rather sheepish expression, dressed in an elegant matching coat and kimono patterned with bamboo and stylized clouds. He wears chunky wooden sandals, and has a cloth covering the top of his head. Willow branches frame the night sky above a wooden railing. A nicely detailed subject.

Artist - Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864)

Image Size - 9 5/8" x 14 3/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail. A few small holes repaired from reverse. A couple creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
