Comments - Beautiful kakemono or vertical diptych of a young beauty with a packet of tissues between her teeth. She holds the end of her cloud patterned obi in one hand, the fabric flowing down around her in a gentle curve over her ivy bordered kimono. Beautifully drawn with graceful lines and soft colors. A classic Edo era beauty subject, great to collect or display.

Condition - This diptych with excellent color and detail. Two panels attached at the seam. Darkened with age, as shown. A couple small holes repaired when backed. Backed with thin paper. See photos.
