Comments - Handsome scene of a beauty and a young boy at the shore. The child dances about excitedly, hopping on one foot and waving his hand above his head. The beauty smiles down at him, gripping an oar upright with both hands. A boat is pulled up on the beach behind them as waves lap at the shore, which is scattered with seashells. A low wooden tub holds a variety of fish. Sails dot the horizon, and smoke drifts across the upper corner of the sky. An interesting subject with fine bokashi shading in the background.
