Series; The Book of the Eight Dog Heroes

Seki Sanjuro II as Amazaki Juichiro Terufumi, 1852 - Dramatic image of Seki Sanjuro II as the warrior Amazaki Juichiro Terufumi drawing his sword in a play based on the novel "The Eight Dog Heroes of Satomi." He grimaces with eyes wide, his brows furrowed as he draws his sword. He wears a heavy blue coat with a red brocade collar over a tan kimono, his hair neatly pulled back into a topknot. Tall grasses frame the night sky behind him. A handsome, expressive portrait from this interesting series.
