Ichikawa Ferry, Himeji, Banshu Province, 1859 - Handsome view looking down at the ferry crossing the Ichikawa River in Himeji, Banshu Province. People wait on either shore for the arrival of the boat, with a small village on the right. A road zigzags across the fields at left, with clouds streaking above the landscape. The towers of Himeji Castle rise above the town in the distance, nestled at the foot of the mountains. An attractive design.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail. A few small holes repaired from reverse. A couple small spots. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
