Kazan Gafu - Charming scene from a group of Meiji era prints of nature scenes based on Edo era paintings by the artist Watanabe Kazan. These lovely designs offer beautiful illustrations of animals and plants, rendered with lively calligraphic strokes. They have the appearance of ink and wash paintings, with soft gradations of color. A wonderful choice to frame and display, either singly or in groups. Published in 1911 by Yoshikawa Kobunkan.

Artist - Watanabe Kazan (1793 - 1841)

Image Size - 10" x 12 3/4"
