Comments - Dramatic scene of a battle during the Satsuma Rebellion of rebel samurai fighting Imperial troops. In the center, a warrior and soldier clash swords as additional troops rush up from the left. A cloud of smoke drifts across the battlefield beneath a dark night sky, partially obscuring a row of soldiers firing at the rebels. Nicely detailed with fine bokashi shading.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Faint crease near left edge. A few small holes, thinning along crease, repaired, blends well. Slight soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
