Comments - Fantastic triptych of the great warrior Tokugawa Ieyasu being pursued by Sanada Yukimura. He gallops ahead on a dappled horse, waving a crop as he turns to look back at his enemy. The bare-headed Sanada follows on a black horse, a spear in hand and his personal standard fluttering above his back. Two other samurai race on foot to keep up. An incredible scene with fantastic detail in the colorful armor and lively horses. A great composition with a real sense of energy and movement. A fine choice to collect or display.
