Comments - Charming image of a beauty on a verandah in summer enjoying the cool evening air. Kneeling beside a cushion, she smiles with delight as she watches fireflies glowing in the night sky. She wears blue-gray kimono patterned with autumn blossoms, tied with a plum colored obi. A large glass globe filled with playful goldfish hangs overhead, decorated with colorful tassels blowing in the breeze. A small stream winds through the background, and a flame burns in a lamp below. An attractive design, nicely colored.

Artist - Kuniyoshi (1797 - 1861)

Image Size - 14 3/8" x 9 3/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Thinning at top left corner, one small hole, repaired, blends well. Slight creasing. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
