Original Meiji era Japanese Woodblock Print
Fisherman and Turtle

Comments - Charming image of a fisherman watching a turtle with flowing moss growing from its shell, a symbol of longevity. The man holds a shallow red lacquer sake cup in his hand, a black lacquer box and a fishing pole on the ground nearby. An interesting subject with embossed line work in the straw apron around his waist and the flowing moss.
