Night Cherry Blossoms, 1847 - 1852

Comments - Lovely triptych depicting three beauties under a blossoming cherry tree at night. The woman in the center rests a hand on a branch, smiling at her companion over her shoulder. The beauty at left adjusts a hairpin as she admired the tree covered with white flowers and buds. She wears a blue kimono patterned with leaves and tie with a black print obi and tall wooden geta sandals. An attractive spring scene.

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 28 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three separate panels. Horizontal centerfold in each panel. A few small holes, small loss at lower right edge of center panel, repaired. Slight toning at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
