These images offer a wonderful glimpse into the life of the upper class in Meiji era Japan, with young girls playing games outdoors, practicing dance or music, or learning valuable skills like needlework. Finely detailed figures are set into softly colored backgrounds, creating delightful images popular with collectors and for display.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail. A few small holes repaired from reverse. Some toning in subject as shown. A few small spots. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
