Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of Nakamura Shikan as the faithful samurai Tadanobu, who is actually a magic fox in disguise. He strikes a fox-like pose with his arms extended like paws beneath his robe, grinning slyly. He wears a black kimono patterned with Buddhist prayer wheels tied with a floral obi and purple sash, a blue cloth bundle tied over his shoulder. Nice vibrant color with burnishing in the black kimono.
