Takegawa (Bamboo River), Chapter 44 - Dramatic portrait of Sakingo Ashikaga Yorikane with his sword in hand just after he has murdered his lover, the Yoshiwara courtesan Takao. A few strands of her long dark hair drop from his fingers as he scowls, perhaps just realizing the full impact of what he has done. Dark misty clouds drift before the moon above, and a few scattered papers blow in the wind. A fantastic image with a beautifully expressive face.
