Smiling Beauty

Comments - Beautiful Eishi portrait from the golden age of the print a young woman smiling happily as she looks ahead, one hand resting gracefully on her collar. She wears a blue outer robe over a pale pink kimono with a netted and floral pattern, and a red under robe with a light blue collar. Her hair is pulled back into a sleek bun adorned with a large comb, many slender hairpins, and a pink ribbon. A lovely image with fine line work in the hair and wonderful handling of the translucent comb.

Artist - Eishi (1756 - 1829)

Image Size - 15" x 9 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. A couple faint spots. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
