Evening Snow at Mokubo Temple

Series; Eight Views of Edo

Evening Snow at Mokubo Temple - Charming scene of a beauty arriving by boat to visit Mokubo Temple. She stands on the front of the craft, smiling as she looks over her shoulder. She wears a colorful blue outer kimono with a furry black collar over print under robes, tucking a roll of tissues into her obi. Snow falls heavily over the gray sky, blanketing the pine trees along the shore. An attractive design, nicely colored with fine bokashi shading in the water.

Artist - Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864)

Image Size - 15" x 9 7/8" + margins as shown
