Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of two men outside a rustic shrine in the mountains. The fellow at right looks over his shoulder with a worried frown as he pushes up the sleeves of his coat. The commoner at left reaches forward, looking up with a tight-lipped expression. His green and white outer kimono is pushed down at the waist, revealing a blue tie-dyed kimono, and he wears brown and white striped leg protectors. A pine tree frames the scene at right. Nicely colored and detailed.
