Beauty in a Morning Glory Kimono Kakemono

Comments - Lovely kakemono or vertical diptych of a beauty reading a letter, smiling as she looks up over her shoulder. She wears a beautiful kimono patterned with morning glory blossoms and vines, tied with a black obi featuring a red tie-dyed inset. Her hair is pulled back into a smooth knot, adorned with a comb, decorative hairpins, and ribbons. An attractive Edo era design.

Condition - This print with two panels attached at the seam. Toned as shown. Some light soiling and a couple stains. A few small holes repaired from reverse. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
