Beauties and Chrysanthemum Garden, 1843 - 1846

Comments - Charming triptych depicting three beauties visiting a chrysanthemum garden. The woman at right smiles happily as she watches a butterfly fluttering through the sky, shielding her eyes with her hand. In the center, her companion leans against the bamboo fence surrounding the flowers, taking a toothpick from her mouth. Beautiful oversize blossoms in shades of red, yellow, and orange fill the background, providing a striking backdrop for the women. An attractive and colorful design, nicely detailed.

Condition - This triptych with excellent color and detail as shown. Three separate panels. A few small holes repaired. Slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
