Original Kunisada III (1848 - 1920) Japanese Woodblock Print
Unhappy Nobleman

Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of a nobleman staring ahead with a rather unhappy expression, frowning slightly. He holds a folding fan in one hand, his other clenched in a fist before his chest. He wears a yellow and red hexagon print kamishimo over a blue-green kimono, his crest of two birds appearing on the shoulders and sleeve. A nice expressive figure.

Artist - Kunisada III (1848 - 1920)

Image Size - 5 1/2" x 8"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Some soiling at bottom edge. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
