Ichimura Uzaemon XII as Take, the Morning-glory Seller, 1852 - Handsome kabuki portrait of Ichimura Uzaemon XII as the morning-glory seller, Take. He looks over his shoulder with a surprised expression, his eyes wide. He wears a blue tie-dyed kimono over a black undergarment, a dotted towel draped over his shoulder. The portrait takes the form of an inset on the side of a paper lantern set against at gray night sky. An interesting design detailed with faint embossing in the folds of the lantern.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. A bit of old paper at top reverse. A couple light spots. Ssee photos.
