Hashiba Ferry in Snow, 1864 - Attractive winter image of two beauties taking a ferry across the river. The women are bundled against the cold and carry snow covered umbrellas, while the boat man wears a straw mantle and hat. Snowflakes fall gently through the night sky. A charming woodblock collaboratively designed by Hiroshige II and Toyokuni III, with fine bokashi shading in the water and sky.

Image Size - 13" x 8 7/8" + margins

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail. Backed with thin paper. A number of small holes and losses repaired with backing. A couple light creases, minor soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
