Comments - Charming illustration of an arrangement of cherry blossoms in an ornate container supported by small figures. The flowers are colored in pale pink, and the side of the vase is decorated with a dragon and clouds. A nicely detailed ikebana subject.

Artist - Utamaro (1750 - 1806)

Image Size - 8 1/2" x 6 1/2"

Condition - With excellent color and detail. Toned throughout and backed with thin paper. Slight rubbing and soiling in subject. Some spotting and staining in select prints. A few holes and areas of thinning in subject and at edges, repaired with backing paper. Please see photos for a sense of individual condition. Good overall.
