Festival Dance at Nihonbashi Bridge in the Eastern Capital: Ichikawa Ebizo V as Tokimune - Fantastic kabuki portrait of Ichikawa Ebizo V as Soga Goro Tokimune, one of the famous Soga Brothers, glaring fiercely to the side. His dramatic red stage makeup and flared wig add to his imposing appearance. He wears a magnificent robe patterned with colorful butterfly wings over a red and yellow checked kimono. Above, pedestrians stroll over the Nihonbashi Bridge in Edo, warehouses and a lumberyard lining the far shore of the river. A great bold image with beautiful color.
