47 Ronin, Act 3 - Handsome woodblock scene from Shuntei's circa 1810 kabuki series based on the play "Kanadehon Chushingura," which tells the fantastic story of the 47 Ronin, who avenged their master's death. Each design presents the major characters in nicely detailed settings, beginning with Lady Kaoyo's identification of the battle helmet and culminating in the night attack on Moronao's palace.
