View of Nihonbashi Bridge in Snow, 1837 - 1838 - Handsome view of travelers passing over the Nihonbashi Bridge on a snowy winter day. The wooden structure arches gracefully across the bottom of the scene, with building stretching out along the water's edge and Mt. Fuji rising in the distance. A castle can be seen nestled among the trees in the distance, surrounded by high stone walls. A charming pillar print design with attractive color and soft bokashi shading, also in the collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
