Shinjuku - Attractive portrait of a beauty preparing for bed, her striped robe loosely wrapped around her red tie-dyed under robe. She looks down over her shoulder, a few tissues caught between her teeth and a roll of them in her hand. A soft rosy glow illuminates the shoji shade on the lamp at right, with a black lacquer tray on the floor holding a teapot and two cups. A charming subject with fine bokashi shading in the background.
Artist - Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864)

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse at corners from previous folio mounting. toning, creasing, slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
