Two women follow behind leading the empress by the hand, a third woman sheltering her with a purple Western-style umbrella. The women are all dressed in delicately embossed white robes tucked into full red hakama pants, with a colorful outer kimono. Two horses lead a carriage alongside the group. An intriguing Yoshitoshi subject with burnishing in the black carriage and soft bokashi shading in the background.
