Beauty under a Mosquito Net

Comments - Charming image of a young beauty emerging from under the mosquito netting. She wears a tie-dyed blue and white kimono wrapped loosely about her over a red under robe, tied with a black and gray print obi. Her long hair flow over her shoulders, adorned with only a single hairpin at the top of her head. A round fan and comb rest on the floor nearby. A lovely image with fine line work and soft bokashi shading in the mosquito netting.

Artist - Hokusai (1760 - 1849)

Image Size - 14 3/4" x 9 1/4" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Paper remnants on reverse along top edge from previous folio mounting. Toning. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
