Comments - Beautiful floral design depicting a full red peony and bud against lush foliage. The petals are beautifully shaded with deeper tones near the center and soft orange or lighter rose near the edges. The leaves and bud are softly colored in graduated tones as well. A lovely print that would make a very attractive framed presentation. Published by Kyoto Hanga-in and dated 1949 in right margin.

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse at two points on left edge from previous folio mounting. A few faint spots, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
