Comments - Attractive kakemono or vertical diptych of a beauty standing in front of tall autumn grasses, with a full moon faintly visible at upper left. She smiles happily as she looks over her shoulder, a folding fan in hand. Her kimono is shaded from green to white, bordered with a design of ground cherries and leaves and tied with an olive green floral obi. Her hair is pulled back into a smooth bun, adorned with a comb and hairpins. A charming Edo era beauty portrait, nicely detailed with fine line work in the hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes.
