His subjects include noted temples and shrines as well as scenic views, and many include people going about their daily lives. These handsome images feature lively drawing with wonderfully expressive line work and attractive color. Published by Bunendo in 1922, the blocks for these designs were destroyed during the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923, so prints from this series are extremely rare. A great early pre-Kanto Earthquake print from the artist's early career.
