Monk Displaying a Scroll

Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of a monk or priest displaying a scroll to a pair of warriors. He looks over his shoulder with a stern frown, wearing a traditional monk's mantle over a gray and yellow brocade robe, a string of prayer beads around his wrist. The young samurai watches him with a scowl, a folding fan in one hand and his spear in the other. He wears a fine suit of armor, his long hair pulled back into a low ponytail. The beauty at right leans forward with interest, holding a cloth-wrapped parcel. A handsome design, nicely detailed with fine line work in the hair and lively color.
