Overrunning a Chinese Position

Comments - Dramatic illustration from the Sino-Japanese War of Japanese troops overrunning at Chinese gun emplacement outside a fortress. In the center, a soldier uses his rifle as a club to strike a fallen enemy while the man beside him wields a bayonet. Other members of the gun crew lies in a crumpled heap beside a cannon, as Japanese officers on horseback rush up at right amidst clouds of smoke. The towers of the fortress can be seen above the smoke at left. Detailed with fine bokashi shading in the clouds and sky.

Image Size - 14 1/8" x 27 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Three panels, not attached at the seams. A few wormholes, repaired, blends well. Slight soiling, very slight rubbing near edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
