Original 19th century Japanese Woodblock Print
Pilgrim with Prayer Beads

Comments - Attractive Edo era pillar print design of a pilgrim holding up a string of prayer beads. He carries a walking staff and has a rolled up straw mat slung over his back and a water dipper tucked at his waist. A cloud-like border separates him form green hills in the distance, with a verse above. An interesting subject.

Artist - 19th century artist (unsigned)

Image Size - 3" x 14"

Condition - With excellent color and detail. A few spots in subject. A couple small holes repaired from reverse. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
