Beauty Climbing into a Bath

Comments - Charming scene of a young beauty climbing into a large wooden bath tub full of water. She adjusts a comb in her hair while resting one hand lightly on a cover across the tub, using her mouth to hold a small towel. A green kimono hangs on a black lacquer stand next to the bath. A handsome reprint of a classic ukiyo-e subject with a soft color palette.

Artist - Kiyomitsu (1735 - 1785)

Image Size - 12 1/2" x 6" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse at top corners from previous folio mounting. Small spot in top margin. Please see photos for details. Very nice overall.
