The Chofu Jewel River in Musashi Province - Lovely view of two beauties washing cloth in the Chofu River in Musashi Province. One woman crouches to gather up a load of fabric, looking over her shoulder. The other beauty pulls a length of cloth from the flowing river, a tiny crab clinging to the edge. A charming subject with soft shading in the water and clouds, and an attractive embossed pattern in the beauty's blue cotton kimono. The Boston Museum of Fine Arts has this image in its collection.
