View of Matsuchiyama - Attractive Hiroshige landscape of Matsuchiyama or Mt. Matsuchi on the west bank of the Sumida River in Edo. Rooftops crowd along the base of the hill, with steep steps leading up to structures above, surrounded by tall pine trees. In the foreground, a boatman ferries two passengers along the gently rippling water, with an arched bridge at far right. A handsome design with soft shading in the water and sky.

Artist - Hiroshige (1797 - 1858)

Image Size - 8 5/8" x 13 3/8" + margins

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Lightly toned throughout and backed with thin paper. Some rubbing and soiling throughout with faint spotting near edges.
